Produced for Broadway Church in Vancouver, the film follows Mikaela’s journey after surviving a life-threatening experience and emerging with a renewed perspective on life. Rather than focusing on spectacle, the documentary centers on intimacy — giving space for reflection, vulnerability, and the emotional weight of what it means to come back from the edge.
Shot and edited with a restrained, cinematic approach, the visual language supports the story without overpowering it. Natural light, observational framing, and deliberate pacing allow moments to unfold organically, grounding the narrative in authenticity.
